Our Story
Hope Beyond Measure began with a simple act of help that eventually grew into a greater vision.
Its founder, Yani Batala, has always believed that education has the power to change the trajectory of a life.
Growing up in the Philippines, she witnessed firsthand how deeply families value education, even when resources are limited. Many students possess the determination and potential to succeed, yet financial barriers can make continuing their education more challenging.
The inspiration for Hope Beyond Measure came from a personal moment.
When a close friend, a hardworking single mother, was struggling to pay the tuition fee for her daughter, Yani stepped in to help. What began as a simple act of support quickly became something more meaningful. Seeing how that small assistance eased the burden for both the mother and her daughter opened Yani’s eyes to how even a modest act of generosity can make a real difference in a family’s journey.
That moment planted the seed for something bigger.
Rather than helping just one student at a time, Yani envisioned creating something that could reach many more. From that vision, Hope Beyond Measure was born, an initiative dedicated to supporting students who have the determination to pursue education but face financial or practical challenges along the way.
What started with helping one family is now growing into a broader mission to support students through scholarships, educational assistance, and community partnerships.
Today, Hope Beyond Measure continues to grow with the belief that when students receive encouragement, opportunity, and support, their potential expands far beyond what circumstances once allowed.
