These terms apply to everyone who uses this website. By using the site you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
What this website is
This site is published by Hope Beyond Measure, a registered nonprofit organization supporting students in the Philippines. Its purpose is to explain who we are, describe our work and its impact, and give people a way to support students or get in touch with us.
The site is informational. It does not offer accounts, logins or registration, and it is not an application portal. Sending us a message through the contact form does not create an obligation on our part to provide assistance to any person.
Using the site
You are welcome to read, download and print material from this site for your own personal, non-commercial use. When you use the site, you agree not to:
use it for any unlawful purpose
attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, disrupt it, or place an unreasonable load on it
copy, scrape or harvest its content or photographs by automated means
use our name, logo, photographs or content to raise money, or in a way that suggests we endorse you, without our written permission
present yourself as speaking on behalf of Hope Beyond Measure
Donations
Donations made through this site are voluntary gifts to Hope Beyond Measure. We use them to carry out the work described on this site — scholarships, school supplies, clothing and other essential student needs — and to cover the reasonable costs of running those programs. Where a particular need has already been met, we will apply the gift where it is most needed within that work.
Payments are handled by an outside payment provider. Their terms apply to the payment itself, and we do not see or store your card or bank details.
Donations are generally not refundable. If you have made a mistake, such as the wrong amount or a duplicate gift, write to us within 30 days and we will do our best to put it right.
Monthly sponsorship is a recurring gift. You can change or stop it at any time by writing to us, or through the payment provider you used.
Hope Beyond Measure is a tax-exempt organization and donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. We are not able to give tax advice; please speak to your own adviser about your circumstances.
Photographs and other content
The text, photographs, graphics and logo on this site belong to Hope Beyond Measure or are used with permission, and are protected by copyright and trademark law. The photographs show real students, families and communities, and out of respect for them they may not be copied, edited, reposted or used for any other purpose without our written permission.
Messages you send us
When you write to us through the contact form or by email, you confirm that what you send is your own and that we may use it to respond to you and to improve our work. Please do not send confidential or sensitive personal information through the contact form.
Information on this site
We work to keep the site accurate and current, including the figures we publish about the students we support. Numbers, program details and team information change over time. They describe our work in good faith at the time of writing and are not a guarantee.
Nothing on this site is legal, financial, tax, medical or educational advice.
Links to other websites
This site links to other websites, including social media platforms and the service used to process donations. We do not control those sites and we are not responsible for their content, their terms, or the way they handle your information.
Availability
The site is provided as it is and as available. We do not promise that it will always be accessible, uninterrupted or free of errors, and we may change, suspend or remove any part of it at any time without notice.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hope Beyond Measure and its directors, staff and volunteers are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising out of your use of this site or your inability to use it. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page is always the current one, and the date at the top shows when it was last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means that you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state in which Hope Beyond Measure is incorporated, without regard to conflict of law rules.
