This policy explains what information Hope Beyond Measure collects through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. You can read every page of this site without giving us any personal information.
Who we are
Hope Beyond Measure is a registered nonprofit organization that supports students in the Philippines with scholarships, school supplies, clothing and other essential needs. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Hope Beyond Measure.
This website does not offer accounts, logins or user profiles. There is nothing to register for, and we do not build profiles of the people who visit.
Information you choose to give us
We only receive personal information when you decide to send it. That happens in three ways:
Contact form. Your name, email address, phone number and the message you write. We use this to answer you, and for nothing else.
Donations. Donations are handled by an outside payment provider. Your card or bank details are entered on their system, not ours, and we never see or store them. The provider passes us your name, email address, the amount and the date so that we can thank you and keep proper records.
Email and social media. If you write to us directly, we keep your message and your address so that we can reply.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting provider records basic technical information each time a page is opened: IP address, browser and device type, the pages viewed and the page you arrived from. We use this to keep the site working and secure, and to understand which pages people find useful. We do not use it to identify individual visitors.
Cookies
This site uses only the cookies needed for pages to load and display correctly. It does not use advertising cookies and does not follow you across other websites. Your browser settings let you block or delete cookies at any time, although some parts of the site may not display properly if you do.

To reply to questions and messages
To process, acknowledge and keep records of donations
To send updates about students and programs to people who have asked for them
To meet our accounting, reporting and legal obligations as a nonprofit
To protect the site against misuse
What we never do
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We do not pass it to anyone so that they can market to you. We do not send mailings to people who have not asked to hear from us.
When we share information
We share personal information only in these situations:
With the service providers who host this site and process donations, limited to what they need in order to do that work
With our accountants and auditors, where this is required for financial reporting
Where the law requires it, or where it is necessary to protect the rights and safety of the people we serve
Photographs of students and families
The photographs on this site show the students, families and communities we work alongside. We ask permission before publishing images of the people we serve, and we do not publish the full name, school, address or contact details of an individual student without consent.
If you appear in a photograph on this site, or you are the parent or guardian of a child who does, and you would like the image removed, write to us and we will take it down.
Children
This website is written for adults who want to learn about or support our work. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through this site. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Keeping information safe
We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold and we limit access to the people who need it. No website or method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.
Other websites
This site links to our social media pages and to the service used to process donations. Once you follow one of those links you are on someone else’s website, and their privacy policy applies rather than ours.
Where information is handled
We work in both the United States and the Philippines, and information you send us may be handled in either country by our team or by our service providers.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will post the updated version on this page and change the date shown at the top. Please check back from time to time.
